Southwest China's Guizhou Province is showcasing its vibrant culture and unique tourism resources at the ongoing three-day 6th Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo in Shanghai.

Guizhou Pavilion takes visitors on a captivating virtual journey through the province, featuring a colorful blend of displays and performances that highlight intangible cultural heritage, along with over 1,000 cultural and creative products.

Spanning 372 square meters, it prominently displays Guizhou's stunning karst landscapes at the entrance. Dark green mountain peaks and winding streams traverse the pavilion, adorned with silvery Miao embroidery and indigo Dong cloth, creating the illusion of a long, flowing scroll of landscapes.

Three exhibition areas showcase Guizhou's many charms: culture, tourism, sports, and technology with immersive experiences, exquisite cultural product displays, and diverse interactions.

Miao embroidery, Guizhou silverware, batik, lacquerware, and intangible cultural heritage performances like Dixi and Shui script demonstrations are on display at the pavilion.

Tunbao Dixi, a folk theater from Anshun, is called a "living fossil of Chinese opera," dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Visitors must taste the "new three must-tries" – Guiyang coffee, tea, and craft beers – and local specialties.

Guizhou is striving to become a top tourist destination. The province is brimming with untamed natural beauty, rich ethnic heritage, and a pleasant climate that make it a year-round destination for travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation.

Its natural landscapes are nothing short of breathtaking. The Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of Asia's largest, thunderously cascades down, enchanting visitors.

For nature enthusiasts, the Fanjing Mountain nature reserve, home to rare species like the golden monkey, offers pristine forests and panoramic mountain views, while the karst landscape of Xiaoqikong (Smaller Seven Apertures) in Libo also promises stunning scenery.

In September, the world's highest bridge, Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge rising 625 meters above the river, went into operation in Guizhou.

Guizhou has enhanced its cultural, tourism, and sports offerings with thrilling extreme sports such as high-altitude swings and bungee jumping.

The exhibition area also showcases the unique appeal of a "cool and delightful lifestyle" in Guizhou. Health resorts nestled among green mountains and rivers, charming boutique homestays, and camping sites beneath the starry sky offer a spiritual retreat for busy urban residents.
