French actress Aurélia Thierrée, granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin, has brought her mother Victoria Chaplin-Thierrée's production, "Bells and Spells," to Shanghai for the 24th China Shanghai International Arts Festival.
The show uniquely blends magic and new circus, a genre to which Aurélia's parents have dedicated their lives.
"Bells and Spells" follows Aurelia's unusual journey as an incurable kleptomaniac who finds herself at the mercy of the objects she steals, infused with surreal humor and a sense of magic.
The performance kicked off Theater YOUNG's "Autumn Is" International Theater Season, during which ten international stage productions from six countries will be showcased through December.
