Paddington-Themed Cruise Sets Sail on Suzhou Creek

A Paddington-themed cruise has set sail on Suzhou Creek, offering visitors a unique journey through the city's historic landmarks.

A collaboration between Shanghai Suhewan Group and Shanghai Jiushi Suzhou Creek Tourism Development Co, it features a giant Paddington Bear perched atop a vintage suitcase, holding a gift and displaying the tagline "From London to Shanghai!"

It recreates heartwarming scenes from the movie.

Inside, it has a London-inspired theme, including colors and décor, transforming it into a "moving photo studio" for visitors.

The first trip set sail from Sihang Warehouse Pier on November 15, passing such historic landmarks as Shenyu Lane, Tianhou Palace, and the former Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce. It is scheduled to cover the entire Suzhou Creek route in the future.

Tickets can be purchased through the "悠游苏州河" (Suzhou Creek Tourism) WeChat mini-program. A parent-child package, set to launch at the end of the year, will allow visitors to meet a life-sized Paddington Bear mascot and receive exclusive merchandise.
