"Our Water: Flowing from Shanghai — Intercultural Dialogues Among World Cities", an event promoting exchanges between waterfront cities, was launched in London on June 10.

The program is an initiative launched by the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality to bring together global cities that share waterways. Its goal is to encourage collaboration on issues related to urban development, economic cooperation, and cultural exchange.

The London event represented the second edition of the initiative, building upon the success of the inaugural edition held in Paris the previous year.

The discussions will highlight the role of waterfront renewal in driving urban innovation in Shanghai and London. Other themes will also be explored, such as financial cooperation, tech innovation, and cultural exchanges.

Audiences from both countries are expected to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other’s unique civilizations.
