Citizens of China and Azerbaijan will be able to enjoy visa-free travel between the two countries from July 16, thanks to a new mutual visa exemption agreement.
Under the agreement, passport holders from China or Azerbaijan will no longer need to apply for a visa when entering, exiting, or transiting through the other country. Travelers can stay up to 30 days per visit, with a total of no more than 90 days within any 180-day period.
The new policy makes travel between the two countries easier for tourists, business travelers, and family visits.
For stays longer than 30 days, or for people who want to live, work, study, or engage in journalism in the other country, the appropriate visa must be obtained.
Travelers are encouraged to check with their respective embassies or official immigration websites for the most up-to-date guidelines before making travel plans.
The new visa arrangement marks a positive step toward stronger China–Azerbaijan relations and expanded travel opportunities for both sides.
