The 21st JZ Festival will be a musical feast for the city's music lovers.

Shanghai will host the 2025 21st JZ Festival from October 16 to 26.

Over 120 stellar performances will be given by 300 top artists and jazz masters from 20 countries, including 19 Grammy nominees and 4 winners.

"The Tulip Jazz Diva" Laura Fygi and "The Queen of Bossa Nova" Lisa Ono will share the stage as "Double L" at JZ Festival on October 24.

They will reimagine classic melodies with a Chinese orchestral ensemble at the BOCOM New Bund 31 Performing Arts Center for one night only.

Besides indoor performances, the festival will make "everywhere a stage," from TaiKoo Li Qiantan, Crystal Plaza Qiantan, New Bund Red Lane and the riverside Qiantan Park.

Music lovers can enjoy free public performances in commercial districts and parks, such as a jazz flash mob in a mall or relaxing on a riverside lawn while listening to romantic jazz ballads in the breeze.

The highlight will be the New Bund Red Lane, which will be closed and turned into "Jazz Avenue." On two weekends, multiple stages will host dozens of top international jazz bands for non-stop street performances.

The lineup features Caravan Palace, Ghost-Note, Pablo Martín Caminero, Nils Petter Molvaer, Dutch Swing College Band and Fountain de Chopin.

The Expo Area Bureau of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration, Lujiazui Group and JZ Music have collaborated on this musical feast.

JZ Festival will also host a high-level music industry summit with Universal Music, Tencent Music, Taihe Rye Music and top musicians on the industry's future. During the festival, jazz camp and master classes will also be held.
