Chinese actress Yang Mi appears at the newly opened Jellycat Café.
Jellycat Café has opened in the heart of Shanghai, offering a playful, dessert-filled escape
The limited-time experience can be enjoyed at the first-floor atrium of Plaza 66 in Jing'an District, with a fourth-floor pop-up running alongside.
Jellycat Café turns Plaza 66 into a playful land.
Styled as an open dessert workshop, visitors can meet classic Jellycat favorite Bartholomew Bear, now a pastry chef, alongside new friends, as they showcase the art of dessert-making. Cheerful surprises and playful interactions fill the space, creating a joyful, immersive atmosphere.
Whimsical props complement a fresh "menu": Leola Bear clutches a strawberry cake, peach desserts and lattes echo the theme, and teapots and teacups nod to tea culture. The new Bunny features Shanghai's iconic magnolia in its ear pattern, blending local charm with Jellycat's signature aesthetic.
A shopkeeper pretends to squeeze butter on the peach cake plush.
Fans can also experience the beloved interactive "packaging" activity, with a surprise appearance from Chinese actress Yang Mi adding extra excitement.
The pop-up embodies Jellycat's philosophy, "For the joy of it," and deepens the British plush toy brand's connection with Chinese audiences.
