A performance celebrating the tourism festival at a roadshow on the Bund.
Five sub-venues of the ongoing 2025 Shanghai Tourism Festival cooked up a feast on the Bund over the weekend with local delicacies and special activities at a bazaar.
The five sub-venues are Ningbo (Zhejiang Province), Yancheng (Jiangsu Province), Mianyang (Sichuan Province), Kashgar (Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region) and Shigatse (Xizang Autonomous Region).
Yancheng brought its "soul breakfast," something that local people queue up every morning – authentic Yancheng egg pancakes, paired with a cup of mellow coffee. The soft and crispy pancake wrapper is filled with fresh and fragrant fillings.

More than 300 cultural and tourist activities such as the Dayang Bay Pink Carnival, the Holland Flower Park Lily Culture and Tourism Season and the Yangtze River Delta Kayaking and Paddleboarding Invitational Tournament will roll out across the city between September and November.
The Holland Flower Park Lily Culture and Tourism Season will feature themed events such as starry sky concert, fireworks shows, drama and lifestyle festivals.
Kashgar will launch the 6th Kashgar Silk Road Culture and Poplar Festival as well as unique tourist routes for autumn and winter, covering historical culture, natural scenery, folk customs and food experiences.
The Shigatse booth showcases Xizang souvenirs.
Shigatse brought local products and souvenirs such as the traditional Xizang stringed instrument, thangka paintings and cashmere to the bazaar.
During this year's Shanghai Tourism Festival, Shigatse specially launched three high-end tourism products. Tourists can visit famous scenic spots such as Mount Qomolangma and Tashilhunpo Monastery, experience authentic Xizang dinners, and visit off-the-beaten-path scenic spots with few people and beautiful scenery.
Ningbo has prepared a "grand feast" by launching the "Golden Autumn · Fun in Ningbo" series of activities, including outdoor games and farm experiences, fishing banquets and harvest feasts in Shipu Town of Xiangshan, cultural and creative markets and handcraft experiences, music festivals and traditional Chinese-style shows.
The bazaar has attracted many visitors.
