Many Xiaohongshu (Red) users shared spectacular photos featuring Lujiazui's iconic buildings – Shanghai Tower, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jinmao Tower and the Shanghai World Financial Center – taken from the Grand Halls.

Situated at the confluence of the Huangpu River and Suzhou Creek, the Grand Halls opened on June 16, 2021. Renovated from century-old buildings, it has been transformed into a world-class conference venue and a city landmark integrating culture, commercial and tourism.

On the occasion of its third anniversary, the Grand Hall will hold its first public open day on June 16, inviting citizens and tourists to appreciate its architectural charm and splendid cityscape.

On June 12, visitors can make reservations through the WeChat mini program "世界会客厅" and visit on June 16 at their reserved time. Its mini program is only available in Chinese.

The Grand Halls consist of three buildings, two of which were former warehouses, alongside the Huangpu River.

During the visit, guides will explain its design concept and architectural features combing heritage preservation and modern functions. Visitors will marvel at the exquisite artworks on display and appreciate the multicultural charm of this new city landmark.

Its garden patio will also open to the public for the first time, allowing visitors to savor the splendid scenery at the two rivers' intersection and the magnificent skyline of the Bund, which features various buildings with distinct styles and colors alongside the Lujiazui Financial Center.

The Grand Halls has hosted many major events, including those promoting the city's foreign investment and showcasing its image to the world, especially on its anniversaries.

On June 16, 2022, the Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference was successfully held here. Last year, in collaboration with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, it celebrated its second birthday with the premiere of its new theme music piece "Boundless."

The launch of the public open day on June 16 this year means city residents and foreigners can get close to this revitalized Shanghai-style building and experience how Shanghai embraces the world.
