Warm winter fun festival
Shanghai Happy Valley will roll out a number of activities from Friday, including visual feasts of fireworks and drone shows.
On December 24 and 25, and January 1, three spectacular shows with a thousand drones will create an exciting atmosphere for the New Year, and dazzling fireworks shows will illuminate the sky on the last night of the year.
There will also be float parades and winter electronic music parties.
The amusement park has been spruced up in festive mode.
Visitors will encounter various "sweater-wearing" trees, giant plush versions of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and a rainbow castle, and interact with adorable plush animals.

Ocean-themed New Year party
From an underwater Christmas tree to polar bear parades, Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park invites people to join a fantastic ocean-themed celebration as the year ends.
At Nordic Town, aurora shows and snowfall effects will be presented, adding a romantic touch to the park.
There will be a beluga whale New Year's Eve concert, a fairy-like electronic music festival, a bonfire party, and a full moon celebration for the newly born second-generation Shanghai penguins.

Set sail! Pirate island adventure
This winter, Anpanman, the iconic cartoon character, has docked in Shanghai, bringing a fun-filled tropical island adventure to the city.

As the Year of the Snake approaches, the park will launch an experience themed around classic movies.
Relying on professional film set technology and performances, five movie and TV drama scenes will be recreated.
Visitors can follow a snake-shaped route to tour a simulated Nanjing Road, the Shiliupu Wharf, the Paramount, Shikumen, and the Jing'an Temple Road Café, experiencing the unique New Year flavor and cultural charm of the Bund.

The street trees have donned new attire that combines art and warmth, transforming into unique plush tree decorations, as if giving a gentle hug to every passerby. The entire area is enveloped in a warm and fluffy atmosphere.
The "Fluffy Embrace for Furry Kids" initiative was launched, carrying out a series of activities such as paw assistance, poking warm nests, and fluffy home embraces, to raise funds for stray cats, collect and share more stories with furry kids, and create a giant cat nest for stray cats.
