Tucked away in the lush greenery of Chongming District, this 5A-rated national scenic area is rolling out the green carpet for you and your four-legged friends.

Park Access and Pet Eligibility
Visitors can now bring their pets to the park during regular operating hours. However, only dogs weighing no more than 15 kilograms and classified as non-aggressive breeds are allowed entry. This ensures the comfort and safety of all guests and animals within the park.
Trees and plants at Xisha Pearl Lake Scenic Area have burst into layered colors, painting the water forest with seasonal hues.
Entry Requirements
To bring a pet into the park, owners must provide a valid pet license and proof of rabies vaccination, with the vaccine administered at least two weeks prior, but within the past year.
All dogs must be leashed at all times with a leash no longer than two meters, and they are also required to wear a muzzle while in the park.
Certain areas are off-limits to pets, including:
The Goose Flying Lawn (大雁放飞草坪)
The Deer Conservation Zone (獐保护栖息地)
The Children's Playground (儿童乐园)
The Visitor Center and enclosed areas like Wei'anfang Pavilion (苇岸坊)
These restrictions are in place to protect both wildlife and park visitors.

Cleanliness and Responsibility
Pet owners are expected to carry waste disposal tools and promptly clean up after their pets. Maintaining a clean environment is crucial to preserving the park's ecological charm.
Before entering, owners must also sign a Pet Liability Waiver. Pets must be under constant supervision, and the owner will bear full responsibility for any incidents or damage caused by their animals.

Guests with pets must use designated entrances:
For Pearl Lake Park, enter at 333 Sanhua Highway.
For Xisha National Wetland Park, enter at 588 Baohu Road.
At both locations, documents will be checked, and a 30-yuan (US$4.15) maintenance fee per dog will be collected.
