Jazz diva Laura Fygi holds an opening concert for the JZ Spring 2023 on Friday evening.
The annual jazz festival has returned to Jing'an for the May Day holiday.
The JZ Spring 2023 raised its curtain on Friday evening in Shanghai Center Theater under the theme of "Better Music, Better Life" with the opening concert by jazz diva Laura Fygi.
As an "old friend" of the festival, she received a "JZ Theater Certificate of Participation" to honor her contributions in international cultural exchange.

From April 28 to May 3, more than 100 musicians at home and from abroad will present live music performance at the Shanghai Center Theater, Jing'an Park, Shanghai Suhewan MXIC World, Jing'an Kerry Center, CITIC Square and LIFE Hub@ Daning.
As well as concerts staged at the Shanghai Center Theater by Fygi, accomplished guitarist Ralph Towner, Grammy-winning musician Richard Bona and jazz guitarist Xiao Jun, other performances are free of charge.
