Film Panorama tickets for the upcoming 27th Shanghai International Film Festival will go on sale on ticketing platforms Damai and Taopiaopiao from 12pm on June 5.

Two hours after that, movie buffs can also purchase tickets at 43 local theaters, including Shanghai Film Art Center, Grand Theatre, UME International Cineplex, Shanghai HOYTS Cinema and Cathay Theater.

At 12pm on June 6, online ticketing will also start on the two platforms for screenings at five cinemas in other cities of the Yangtze River Delta region.

The Film Panorama screening schedule will be announced on June 3 on www.siff.com. The film festival will run from June 13 to 22. This year, the event will also integrate film exhibition and its cultural programs with tourism and commerce to stimulate new consumption models in the city.

Movie fans with the Film Panorama ticket stubs can enjoy discounts and vouchers at some neighborhood hotels, restaurants, stores and tourism spots. Most cinemas also provide luggage storage services for out of town movie buffs.

In addition, Shanghai Film Art Center will collaborate with dance studio LOHAS to offer free or discounted dancing class experience services. Movie fans can also visit the exhibition of the 120th anniversary of Chinese cinema at the Grand Theatre with ticket stubs.

During the 30th Shanghai TV Festival, which runs from June 23 to 27, screenings of 29 excellent TV productions from home and abroad will be organized at 19 venues across the city, including the Art Theater of China Art Museum, Shanghai Jiushi Art Museum and Shanghai Mass Art Center.

Acclaimed works from BBC Studios, DreamWorks Animation and other celebrated companies will be shown. Among the productions are the mini series "Pride and Prejudice," "Emma," biopic "Miss Austen Regrets," and animation features "Gabby's Dollhouse" and "Shuke and Beita."

Meanwhile, on local TV channels such as Dragon TV and News Channel, an array of award-winning works at former editions of the Shanghai TV Festival will be broadcast. Audiences will get a chance to watch acclaimed documentary series "China Before China," animated series "Scissor Seven" season 2 and spy series "The Brink."
