'Growing Light' with GAF Illustration Art Fair

Themed "Growing Light," the 2025 GAF Shanghai Illustration Art Fair will take place this week at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, as a highlight of the 6th Yangtze River Delta Cultural Industries Expo.

The event gathers more than 800 renowned illustrators from around the world across a 24,000-square-meter venue with over 20 curated activities.

This year's GAF features opening and awards ceremonies, artist meetups, art solo exhibitions, sharing sessions, and themed forums. Legendary artists like Yoshitaka Amano and Dai Dunbang will appear in person, energizing the venue with creativity and imagination.

From CG visual art and Chinese aesthetics to ACG illustration, this art fair will display various forms of creation inspired by daily life, Greek mythology and more. International artists from Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and beyond will present their works and engage directly with audiences, offering a vibrant, cross-cultural celebration of illustration.
