Celebrate the art of living well at lifestyle festival

From August 22 to 24, the Suzhou Creek Left Bank Lifestyle Festival invites you to slow down, explore and celebrate the art of living well.

Taking place on the southern plaza of Shenyu Lane at Suhewan MixC World, this three-day cultural gathering brings together music, markets and interactive experiences along one of Shanghai's most scenic riverside locations.

Each evening of the festival brings a different theme to the stage. Friday's Dynamic Night kicks off with street sports showcases, a whimsical bubble show, a magic performance, and an open request music session.

On Saturday, Chinoiserie Night blends tradition and modern flair with Chinese opera medleys, storytelling in Suzhou dialect, a folk concert, and a hanfu micro-play.

Sunday's Romantic Night winds things down with sunset folk tunes, a rock-fusion Chinese folk orchestra, and a nostalgic soundtrack session under the stars.

From 5pm to 8pm daily, the festival's open-air market features themed booths spanning culture, crafts, lifestyle, and charity. Highlights include Chinese lacquer fan painting, hanfu try-ons, handmade artwork, intangible heritage demonstrations, floral gifts, coffee tastings, secondhand book swaps, and sustainable DIY stations.
