1.Shanghai Sports Museum Children's Day Event

One way to make the day memorable is by visiting Shanghai Sports Museum. It offers a unique experience where children and their parents can be inspired by sports stars' stories.

Visitors can see the gymnastics training suit worn by Olympic champion Chen Yuxi when she was just 3 years old, emphasizing the importance of early inspiration and perseverance.

The museum showcases influential moments like a photograph of Zhou Guanyu, captured by F1 photographer Qian Jun, highlighting his journey from an 8-year-old dreamer to determined competitor.

Attendees can hear from Wu Haoyi, head of F1 Chinese Grand Prix race inspection, who will explain the structure and technology of F1 cars.

The event also includes a hands-on "DIY Plaster Racing Car Model Coloring Contest" where children can use their imagination to paint their dream car.

This free public event is designed for 30 participants (15 groups of one child aged 6-12 and one accompanying parent), providing an exciting blend of learning and creativity to celebrate Children's Day.

2.Binjiang Forest Park Hydrangea Exhibition

Many types of hydrangeas can change color due to a pigment called delphinidin. In acidic conditions, the plant absorbs aluminum ions from the soil, turning the flowers blue; otherwise, they remain pink.

Participants will explore the science behind these color changes and learn more about hydrangeas.

The Children's Day event will provide two 90-minute sessions in the morning and afternoon, limited to 10 families per session.

The event will also reveal other fascinating secrets of hydrangeas and how their color changes communicate signals to animals.

Attendees will join a senior plant teacher to uncover the secrets of hydrangea and other flowers, culminating in a special dried hydrangea gift.

This free event requires advance registration, which can be done by scanning a QR code to contact customer services.

The inaugural "Meipuhui" Young Artists Training Program will showcase a city tour exhibition, and a special "Love Poetry" workshop will be held for children aged 6-9, led by renowned theater director William Yip.

The mini-marathon is a 2-kilometer scenic route designed for families, encouraging children to embrace the joy of running.

The "Little Dragons Sports Festival" will include a variety of Olympic, extreme, and tech-infused sports activities across four themed areas.
