Euro 2024 fever hits Found 158 as 'Sportainment+' kicks off in style

Shanghai's streets and alleys are alive with the celebratory atmosphere of football this summer. The highly-anticipated UEFA Euro 2024 is taking place in Germany from June 14 to July 14, and Chinese fans are gearing up for a month-long "midnight celebration."

Several bars and restaurants in the bustling downtown area are hosting football-themed events, offering a platform for local and foreign football fans to root for their teams and cheer stunning goals together.

The UEFA Euro 2024 has not only fired up excitement among fans but has also revitalized the city's nightlife.

The 2024 Shanghai Night Festival kicked off on June 6. On June 1, Found 158, a nightlife hotspot, launched a seven-week "Sportainment+" event as part of the three-month festival.

It includes four-sided giant LED screens that broadcast live Euro matches, as well as memorable goals and plays from previous matches.

Aside from the large-screen viewing areas, Found 158 provides a variety of football-themed and leisure activities.

Football-themed viewing installations adorn the central space, inviting customers to snap pictures and support their favorite teams.

The venue also hosts large-scale table football competitions with AR/VR interactive football games, providing visitors with a more immersive experience of the UEFA tournament.

Local and foreign 'football experts" are invited to contribute live commentaries at the event, which is streamed online via sites such as Douyin and Xiaohongshu.

Additionally, around 20 bars and restaurants are offering various deals, including specifically created UEFA Euro viewing packages at a 34 percent discount.
