Experience the intersection of tradition, artistry and sustainable living at the 4th edition of "Meet Xizang's Artisans," arriving in Shanghai this month.
This unique cultural gathering brings together more than 20 social enterprises from the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and surrounding regions to share their handmade creations and the stories behind them.
At the center of the event is the tangka exhibition, featuring exquisite works by over 40 artists from Lhasa and Shigatse. Often referred to as the "encyclopedia of Xizang culture," each tangka painting is a spiritual and visual narrative, filled with symbolism and history.
Visitors will also get a chance to try their hand at tangka painting and participate in cultural salons with expert artisans and heritage advocates.

Alongside the exhibition is a vibrant craft market offering handmade goods that span from yak milk soaps and handwoven textiles to incense, jewelry, toys and natural skincare. These creations reflect a deep respect for nature and a commitment to preserving traditional skills in a contemporary context.
This gathering is more than a showcase – it's a platform for meaningful exchange. Meet brands such as Yakma, Charu, Shardaa, Nuri, Norna and others who represent the evolving face of Xizang craftsmanship: rooted in heritage, committed to sustainability, and innovating for the future.
Whether you're a collector, a curious newcomer, or someone drawn to handmade beauty, this event invites you to explore the warmth, depth and purpose behind each craft.
