Food for thought as the concept of 'White' fuels edible exhibition

THE TABLE Studio and multidisciplinary artist Blanche Yu have unveiled a fleeting yet unforgettable experience: a four-day edible exhibition inspired by the concept of "White."

From August 21 to 24, Suhe Haus will host this poetic supper club, where light, space, sound, and flavor dissolve into a single, sensorial symphony.

Set in an all-white room, the evening begins at a "breathing" table – one that comes to life only at night. Each dish is designed as an artwork shaped by texture, sound, and motion, transforming food into a tactile sculpture.

Expect menu elements like wild shrimp with peach foam, handmade bread, ginseng soup, and desserts paired with BASAO tea – each composition as conceptual as it is delicious.

Known for pushing the boundaries between dining and art, THE TABLE Studio has staged immersive experiences at renowned institutions like the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice and the Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Milan. This Shanghai edition continues that global legacy in an intimate, meditative setting.
