The CCG EXPO · Animation Films Festival will screen nine anime films at five Shanghai CGV cinemas from July 14th to July 24th.
This follows the 18th China International Cartoon and Game Expo (CCG EXPO 2023), which opened at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center on July 13.
Each of these films is well-known to fans.

Crayon Shin-chan: Honeymoon Hurricane ~The Lost Hiroshi~
映画クレヨンしんちゃん 新婚旅行ハリケーン～失われたひろし～
The film from the "Crayon Shin-chan" comic series was directed by Masakazu Hashimoto and was released in Japan on April 19, 2019. The Nohara family decides to take a vacation after Misae discovers a low-cost travel activity in Australia. But Hiroshi is taken hostage during the trip. A fascinating adventure known as the "Battle for Hiroshi" is on its way.

The 28th "Crayon Shin-chan" movie marks the 30th anniversary of the comic series. It was directed by Kygoku Takahiko and was released in Japan on September 11, 2020.
A graffiti kingdom, "Rakuga Kingdom," floats in the air. Its source of energy is graffiti done by humans on the ground. But it is running out of energy, and the kingdom is on the brink of collapse. The "Rakuga kingdom's" army decides to attack the people on the ground. With "Almost Four Heroes," Shinnosuke is battling for peace.
