This year marks a major upgrade for the tournament, which has been elevated from a PSA (Professional Squash Association) World Tour Silver to a prestigious gold-level event. The schedule has been extended to six days, and for the first time, the competition will feature a "dual-venue" format.

The opening rounds (November 11-12) will take place at the Shanghai Kela Squash Center, while from the quarterfinals onward (November 13-16), the action will move to the renowned Xianxia Tennis Center under the Jiushi Sports umbrella, both venues in Changning District. This new setup promises a dynamic and immersive viewing experience for all fans.

A total of 48 professional players from 14 countries and regions will compete, with a star-studded lineup that includes men's world No.1 Mostafa Asal and defending champion Mohamed Elshorbagy, both from Egypt.

Premium packages, including VIP boxes and exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities with players, are also available. Spectators can even use "Sports Shanghai" consumption vouchers for added discounts.

With squash now officially included in the Olympics program, the sport is enjoying a new wave of popularity in China. Following its successful return last year at the "Moon Bay" venue of the Oriental Sports Center in Pudong, this November, the city will once again witness an exciting showcase of athleticism, precision and global competition.
