Grand Opening for Hongqiao Flower Valley Auction Center
A new 18,000-square-meter landmark in the floral industry, the Hongqiao Flower Valley International Flower Trading and Auction Center, has made a stunning debut in Qingpu District.
It serves as a crucial platform for the floral industry in Shanghai and has the potential to grow into the largest flower auction center in the Yangtze River Delta region. With flowers as its medium, it outlines a development blueprint for the in-depth integration of agriculture, culture, tourism, commerce, sports and exhibitions.
Serving as a supporting venue for the 8th China International Import Expo, the center hosted the inaugural international import flower expo forum and trade exhibition, building a quality display and trading bridge for high-quality flowers from home and abroad to directly connect production areas with sales destinations.
Both businesses and residents can conduct convenient transactions through the online app or offline venues. The platform is expected to be launched in January 2026, covering about 100 production areas, gathering about 4,000 flower varieties, with an annual auction volume expected to exceed 1 billion stems.
