Celebrate Season's Magic in Shanghai with 'Disney Winter Frostival'
Shanghai Disney Resort is set to sparkle this winter as the Disney Winter Frostival returns from November 7 to March 3, 2026, bringing guests a full season of festive celebrations. From Mickey and Minnie's birthday bash to Christmas and New Year's parties, the resort will transform into a shimmering fairytale destination filled with dazzling decorations, shows and seasonal surprises.
This year's Frostival introduces a brand-new Christmas tree – the tallest ever at the resort – along with reimagined décor inspired by classic Disney characters. Guests can meet adorable snow statues of Mickey, Minnie and friends along Mickey Avenue, capture photos and enjoy the magical snowfall of Mickey's Snow Magic. Beloved entertainment like the Disney Winter Magic Cavalcade and A Celebration of Disney Winter Frostival projection show will bring timeless stories to life in sparkling lights.
Festivities begin with Mickey and Minnie's week-long birthday celebration from November 12 to 18, featuring special outfits, surprise performances and a spectacular night-time projection show, Best Wishes. The joy continues with the Christmas season from November 21 to January 3, when Mickey's Magical Tree Lighting Ceremony and fan-favorite performances – "Happy Holidays," "Mickey!," "Christmas Swing" and "Mickey Avenue Carolers" – fill the park with holiday cheer.
At Disneytown, guests can stroll through the Christmas Tree Trail featuring themed trees from "Peter Pan," "Up" and "Monsters, Inc," explore the Christmas Market, and visit Santa's Cabin for festive photos. To ring in 2026, the New Year's Eve celebration will light up the Enchanted Storybook Castle with "Ignite the New Year."
Seasonal menus at the Royal Banquet Hall, Aurora and Lumière's Kitchen invite guests to savor winter flavors, while exclusive collections – like the Mickey and Friends Christmas Waltz and Duffy and Friends Snowy Pals – offer perfect holiday keepsakes.
