Paris museum exhibition unveils French-art activity
Take part in the interactive experience titled "Lancôme by Glances" at the ongoing blockbuster exhibition "Paths to Modernity: Masterpieces from the Musée d'Orsay, Paris" in Shanghai.
This pop-up activity, at the Museum of Art Pudong, invites visitors to traverse the storied history of French art through a curated narrative of femininity, avant-garde and happiness – the art of living gracefully, with joy as its essence.
As the exclusive brand partner of the exhibition, French brand Lancôme is showcasing the stories from 1935 about art and beauty. The activity is a deliberate enhancement to the broader exhibition experience.
Nestled on the museum's first floor, the activity serves as a bridge between the classical and modern art movements featured in "Paths to Modernity," offering a sensory complement to the Musée d'Orsay's treasures – including works by Van Gogh, Monet and Rodin – that fill the galleries.
Visitors can get a pre-guidebook for the exhibition and a free souvenir includes a themed bag and a pin. Throughout the exhibition's run, visitors can also access exclusive audio guides in both English and Chinese for select artworks, further deepening the immersive experience.
Date: Through October 12, 10am-9pm
