Imagine stepping into a colorful convenience store with all kinds of elements related to fries.

McDonald's "Large Fries Day" is coming to downtown Jing'an District ahead of the Great Heat solar term on July 22 with a four-day pop-up store where fans can have fun while enjoying fries, one of its most iconic products.

"Large fries" rhymes with the Great Heat, or dashu, one of China's 24 solar terms, meaning the hottest day of summer.

The restaurant is marking the 11th annual celebration of "Large Fries Day" with a four-day pop-up event and fries-related souvenirs.

In addition to discounts for large fries, derivatives and collectibles, it will also educate customers about the potato growing process.
