A Splashing New Ride as Legoland Launches Monkie Kid Celebration

Legoland Shanghai Resort launched today a brand-new themed event, Lego Monkie Kid Celebration, offering a range of themed activities such as a brand-new ride, limited-time in-park activities, refreshed show offerings and special build experiences.

The resort is the first Legoland featuring a Lego Monkie Kid-themed land.

After nearly a month of trial operations, the much-awaited ride, the Lego Monkie Kid Flower Fruit Mountain Adventure, opened to the public. Inspired by a classic Chinese story, it brings together life-like sets, light and sound effect, and ride technology to create an immersive themed adventure.

As the boat climbs to the top, riders will come face-to-face with a nearly 10-meter-tall Monkie Kid mech, then plunge into a thrilling drop and a huge splash.

Another popular attraction in the themed land, Monkie Kid's Cloud Surfer, offers a different adventure view.

During the event, the Monkie Kid will invite visitors to step into his immersive world and tackle a series of fun yet challenging trials.

In-park activities and shows have been refreshed simultaneously. The Creative Workshop will introduce a new class, Legendary Showdown. The class cleverly combines LEGO bricks with traditional Chinese shadow puppetry.

A variety of show offerings will take place, including stage shows, fun interactive sessions, and puppet plays.
