A Giant, Glowing Red Apple to Ring in the Festive Spirit

A slice of Nordic Christmas magic has officially landed in Shanghai, and it comes in the shape of a giant, glowing red apple.

From November 29 to January 14, Archwalk will transform into a "Red Apple Town" where snow falls on cue, lights sparkle like a northern winter night, and every corner feels straight out of a holiday storybook.

The star of the season is the 10-meter-tall red apple installation, already set to become one of Shanghai's most photogenic festive landmarks. With fairy-lit facades and cozy "village street" scenes, even a casual stroll feels like wandering through a European Christmas postcard.

Throughout the season, visitors can catch surprise Peace Apple giveaways, adding that extra touch of holiday sweetness to their day. Timed snowfall moments turn the plaza into a snowy Nordic lane, while the Apple Market brings together rare apple varieties, apple-inspired desserts, handcrafted holiday goods, and giftable festive finds.

Families will love the magical bubble show, where shimmering bubbles float through the air like holiday sparks, and the lively Christmas parade, where Santa and friends roam the mall, spreading cheer. And as 2025 turns to 2026, a Jazz New Year's Eve Night sets the tone for a warm, elegant countdown.
