A Taste of Latin America in Historic Hengfu Area

Experience Latin American culture right in Shanghai's Hengfu Historic Conservation Area in Xuhui District.

Co-hosted by the Shanghai Museum and Tianping Subdistrict, this one-month event runs through the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.

There will be music performances, flash mob shows, 6 cultural lectures and guided walks, exhibitions, themed City Walks and a stamp-collection activity.

Over 20 cafes and restaurants on Yongkang and Yongjia roads will serve Latin American-themed meals, including cuisine inspired by American crops like maize and sweet potato.

American-style art installations, totem crafts, and intangible cultural heritage art have beautified the area. WanGallery, at 66 Yongkang Road, is hosting the Cuban photography exhibition "Chan Chan."

Using a tour map from Jialanting Pocket Park, gather stamps along the road to redeem gifts and discounts.
