Ready, set, bake!

From November 13 to 16, the Bread Marathon will take over Yuanmingyuan Road Pedestrian Street at Shanghai's Rockbund, bringing together more than 80 top-tier artisan bakers, roasters and creative brands from across China and beyond.

This year's theme celebrates the "Marathon Spirit," patience, precision and passion, honoring bakers who push boundaries while staying true to the art of fermentation and craftsmanship. Many participating bakeries, including several debut names never seen at any market before, will step offline to meet fans face-to-face for the first time.

From flaky croissants and rich sourdoughs to ice cream collaborations, coffee pairings, and wine-infused creations, visitors can explore over a hundred brands such as 27BAKERY, Holy Bagel, Au Levain, ReBread, Luneurs and Ma Tatin, plus standout guest stalls, including NOCHRO Coffee, Di-Solve Gelato and TomatoFarm. The event will also feature interactive workshops, four themed "energy refill stations," and daily surprise gifts for the first 1,000 attendees.
