Duffy Month to Halloween: Shanghai Disney Resort Turns Up the Magic This Autumn

Shanghai Disney Resort is preparing for a season filled with various celebrations, including Duffy Month and Halloween.

The Duffy Month will take place from September 1 to 30, featuring a series of themed activities and celebrations, including a week-long commemoration of LinaBell's fifth anniversary from September 23 to 29.

Halloween-related activities will be held from October 4 to November 1.

The celebrations will coincide with the Mid-Autumn Festival, which runs from September 25 to 27, and the Golden Week national holiday, from October 1 to 7.

10th Birthday Special Duffy Month

With Shanghai Disney Resort celebrating its 10th anniversary, Duffy Month will feature a month of Chinese-themed adventures.

The resort is working with Shanghai Animation Film Studio, Shanghai Huju Opera Theater, and Jingdezhen craftspeople, China's "porcelain capital."

It will premiere Duffy and Friends' first promotional animated short film on August 31, in collaboration with Shanghai Animation Film Studio.

The animation will also be brought to life around the resort with new décor featuring peaches, gourds, and goldfish, while Duffy and Friends will reveal new clothes inspired by the artwork.

For the third year in a row, Shanghai Huju Opera Theater will participate in the celebration. Along with the new production "A Voyage with Duffy and Friends," Duffy Month will once again include a special Huju Opera performance.

Visitors may also take home the new Duffy and Friends Little Voyage Collection, which includes Chinese-style accessories, soft toys, and a special teacup made by artisans in Jingdezhen.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival and Golden Week holidays, guests can enjoy a magnificent castle projection and fireworks after the evening spectacular "Illuminate!" A Nighttime Celebration" from October 1 to 3.
