F1 Checkered Flag Carnival Arrives in Shanghai

For all racing enthusiasts, this is the moment you have been waiting for! The 2026 Formula One Chinese Grand Prix will take place from March 13 to 15 right here in Shanghai.

In addition to the race itself at the Shanghai International Circuit, the Chinese Grand Prix will also host the Checkered Flag Carnival across four major city districts, offering visitors a new level of multi-sensory and culturally immersive racing experience.

The four main locations are: Baoshan (District) Riverside, Jiading District, the North Bund in Hongkou District and the West Bund in Xuhui District. Each venue will feature racing-themed booths selling exclusive F1 merchandise and related memorabilia.

At the West Bund, visitors can also explore a special exhibition dedicated to Zhou Guanyu, China's first-ever Formula 1 driver, who is currently signed with Cadillac.

The exhibition traces the journey of a Shanghai teenager passionate about karting, following his dream and eventually competing on the global stage. Exclusive Zhou Guanyu merchandise will also be available at the venue.

Visitors can also enjoy a unique F1-themed cruise experience connecting Longhua Port in Xuhui District and the International Passenger Center at the North Bund. Passengers will be able to take in the stunning scenery along the Huangpu River while experiencing the dynamic contrast between the city's high-speed racing spirit and its tranquil riverside views.

And what is Formula 1 without electrifying music? Live performances will take place at both the West Bund Dome North Plaza and the Shanghai International Circuit Shuijing Plaza, featuring a different lineup each day. These performances will energize visitors with vibrant rhythms that echo the pulse of the city and celebrate our shared need for speed.
