Two immersive exhibitions continue through summer
Prehistoric Planet: Dinosaurs (《史前星球:恐龙篇》) adapts the acclaimed Apple TV+ and BBC Studios documentary into an immersive exhibition. Through large-scale projections and multimedia installations, visitors journey through oceans, skies, volcanoes and deserts while exploring Earth's prehistoric ecosystems.

Summer nights by the Huangpu River
Beginning on July 21, West Bund Museum (西岸美术馆) extends its opening hours until 8pm, allowing visitors to enjoy exhibitions after sunset. Discounted evening tickets will also be available after 6pm, with admissions to selected exhibitions starting from 30 yuan (US$4.43).
The museum's popular "Whispers of Peculiar Art" (怪画夜谈) program will return with storytelling and interactive activities.
Movie lovers can also catch the Movie Land 2026 GATE M Film Festival, featuring nearly 30 open-air screenings and four movie concerts across two waterfront venues.
