Paradise of Carbs Festival Back at The Bund

The Paradise of Carbs Festival returns to the Bund this month, bringing a full-scale carb celebration to the Bund Finance Center. More than 50 carb-focused brands from across China will gather by the Huangpu River, including 10 making their first-ever appearance in Shanghai, turning the start of 2026 into a joyful excuse to eat well and indulge happily.

From breads, rice dishes, dumplings, and noodles to desserts that lean unapologetically sweet, the lineup reads like a love letter to comfort food. Taiwan-style eel rice, soufflés, tiramisu ciabatta, sushi, fried rice cakes, banana cakes, macarons, and fries are all on the menu, alongside Shanghai-exclusive releases and festival-only creations.

Adding an extra layer of fun, the festival also debuts its New Year Pokémon parade. A Led-lit Pikachu appears at the BFC for a limited time, bringing playful energy, photo-worthy moments, and a festive crossover that makes the carb feast feel even more celebratory.
