Savor the Best Cocktails at the Drink Safari Cocktail Festival
From April 30 to May 4, savor the cocktails by pros and well-established brands at the Drink Safari Cocktail Festival, happening at the North Bund Green Land.
Joined by over 30 pioneer brands and many senior bartenders, the scene will be bustling with the best cocktails in town. To spice things up, the organizers have prepared many interesting activities for visitors to look forward to.
The first highlight of the event is having 2 bartending world champions, Ouyang Zhi'an and Joe Chen, display their skill and ingenuity in bartending!
Ouyang is the first Chinese bartender to win a global bartending competition in 2001. As a senior and experienced pioneer of the industry, he will be preparing 4 limited-edition cocktails as well as some non-alcoholic special flavors that integrate the latest trends of beverages in 2026. Decades of hard work and ingenuity bring you these cups of exclusive experiments that hint at the next big cocktail hit.
Joe Chen, another world champion bartender, will be putting up a fancy wine show. Feel the speed and passion in bartending, feel the tension in each movement as you immerse yourself in this colorful visual feast when concocting cocktails.
After witnessing these legendary bartenders, you might feel the itch to try your hand at mixing yourself. Fret not, TUXEDO will be holding a DIY booth for you to try and brew your own mix! There will be senior bartenders who will be showing you the ropes as they disassemble classic recipes into simpler steps, from selecting the base wine, the auxiliary ingredients, to the whole motions of shaking the jigger and producing your own delicious cocktail. Even if you are a greenhorn, you can get started easily and even mix some of your very own exclusive special recipes, so do take the opportunities to have experts guiding you!
Apart from wines and alcohol, there will be many famous restaurants providing exquisite snacks suitable to accompany these cocktails, so enjoy your time as you dine and wine.
The event will adopt a token system: each drink will cost between three and five tokens, and you can either purchase them on the spot or purchase the early bird tokens through the QR code below. Not only do the early bird tokens cost less, but you will also receive several exclusive stickers used to vote for your favorite cocktail in the event.
