Thailand Street Splashing Festival Brings Cool Vibes for Shanghai Summer

The Thailand Street Splashing Festival is bringing the joyful spirit of the Southeast Asian kingdom's traditional water splashing festival to the heart of Shanghai for the city's first Thailand Culture Month.

The Bund waterfront has been turned into a lively tropical playground for this popular summer carnival held over two weekends (July 25-26 and August 1-2). A variety of exciting summer activities await guests. Visitors can join fun activities like large-scale street water fights with nearly 800 free water guns and a dreamy foam pool party, where locals and tourists splash water and make merry to beat the summer heat.

An authentic Thai-style pop-up market offers tasty Southeast Asian treats, including sticky rice with mango and Tom Yum Soup. Visitors can also take part in handicraft workshops, enjoy traditional Thai massage and sing along at karaoke performances.

For electronic music fans, the fifth-floor riverside rooftop serves as an open-air concert venue overlooking the Huangpu River. With multiple recreational activities, this summer's wonderland carnival is guaranteed to blow your mind.
