Water Town Fair at Panlong Ancient Water Town

Panlong Ancient Water Town will be hosting a Water Town Fair every weekend and public holidays from now to June 7. The fair is not just a simple market; it is designed with the stylistic intent to preserve traditions, while adding a modern twist to keep its appearance fresh and unique.

This market will appeal to visitors with its classic Jiangnan (regions to the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River) water town atmosphere, with fish lantern decorations, bamboo rafts and handicrafts workshop scattered across Panlong ancient water town for the duration of the Water Town Fair.

Visitors can try their hand at many traditional crafts like papermaking, knitting and lantern crafting, making it a perfect opportunity for parents to bring their children here to have fun.

The bamboo rafts are perfect to take scenic photos of the picturesque landscape. Do stay until the sun sets; the fish lanterns lit along the canals of the ancient water town will leave you in awe of the magical view of this historical site.
