Monsters By Monsters, Celebrating a Decade of Imagination
Ten years ago, a group of mischievous forest spirits from Northern Europe, known as The Monsters, made their global debut.
Led by the cheeky, wide-eyed Labubu, they've since captured countless hearts across the globe. This autumn, the beloved characters created by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung return to where it all began, celebrating a decade of imagination, artistry and joy with their first-ever large-scale retrospective: "Monsters By Monsters: Now and Then."
Co-presented by Pop Mart and How2work, the exhibition marks the opening chapter of The Monsters' year-long global anniversary tour. Fans will step into a whimsical journey through Labubu's enchanting universe, from the Enchanted Forest and Mirror Room to The Gallery and Sketch Room, showcasing original drawings, 300 rare artist sketches, and an immersive play of light and shadow in the Glimmer Playground.
Visitors can explore how The Monsters evolved over the past decade, relive Kasing Lung's creative process, and rediscover the warmth, mischief, and humor that have made Labubu and friends global icons of collectible art.
