'Beauty and Nature Symbiosis' Exhibition Opens at the Oriental Beauty Valley
The Shanghai Natural History Museum has launched the "Beauty and Nature Symbiosis" biodiversity exhibition in collaboration with the Oriental Beauty Valley and Chando Future Beauty Innovation Hub.
This immersive exhibition, which runs until March 15, aims to promote green aesthetics, sustainable consumerism, and science education by combining culture, tourism and industry.
One highlight is the release of the Fengxian version of "My Nature Treasure Box." This modular, movable display cabinet serves as a "mobile miniature museum" revealing the wonders of life and color in nature.
The show is organized into two sections: "Symbiosis between You, Me, and Nature" and "Challenges and Nature Symbiosis." Visitors can see the outcomes of the museum's annual citizen science programs, including the Urban Insect Challenge. The interactive "Master Insect Seeker" zone is especially appealing to families, allowing visitors to discover the secrets of urban ecology by locating "hidden insects" inside small settings.
Beyond the biology exhibitions, guests can tour the entire innovation hub, which includes halls dedicated to cosmetic science, art, and sustainability. The facility has translation devices that provide instruction in multiple languages to overseas visitors.
