Fairy Park 'Land of Wilderness' Lands in Shanghai
The fantastical amusement park "Land of Wilderness," a nationwide sensation that began in Lijiang, Yunnan, is now on a nationwide tour, with its first stop in East China at The Place in Shanghai!
"Land of Wilderness" was born out of a warm wish from Chinese artist Qiao Xiaodao.
In 2020, to create a unique amusement park for his daughter, he rented a patch of wasteland at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain in Lijiang and began building his dream.
Without any refined design plans, relying solely on intuition and imagination, he used forgotten materials like scrap metal sheets, old tires and broken fans to build "flying" houses, bookstores with slides and vehicles that seemed to have driven straight out of a fantasy movie.
This park is not just an exhibition; it's a "handcrafted fairytale dream" made from discarded materials, built for kids of all sizes.
