Fujifilm X-Space Shanghai is presenting "Yes, The River Knows – Huangpu River," a solo photography exhibition by Chinese photographer Wan Chaofan.

This is the second chapter of the "Yes, The River Knows" series, in which Wan, who currently lives in Tokyo, shifts his gaze from Tokyo's Arakawa River to Shanghai's Huangpu River.

The artist believes viewers can see the many faces of the city as they follow the river downstream.

The exhibition runs until June 29, 2026.

From its source to the Wusongkou estuary, the confluence of the Huangpu and Yangtze rivers, Wan photographed and documented the waterway and the people, stories, and objects intimately connected to it in a "calm, unhurried, and restrained" manner between 2023 and 2025.
