From Classroom to Gallery: Concordia Students Curate Their First Art Exhibition
A new generation of young creatives is stepping into the museum world with An Art Journey, the first-ever exclusive student art exhibition by Concordia International School Shanghai at the Being Art Museum in Pudong.
The exhibition brings together nearly 50 student works, ranging from paintings and drawings to mixed media and 3D creations. The showcase features portfolio students alongside selected works from Grades 8–12, highlighting a wide range of creative approaches and artistic expression.
What makes the exhibition even more special is the experience leading up to it. Before the show opened, students had the opportunity to work with a museum professional at the Being Art Museum, learning hands-on curatorial skills and gaining insight into how exhibitions are shaped to create meaningful connections between artworks and viewers.
