Hit Game Love And Deepspace Comes Alive at Pudong Exhibition
An interstellar romance lands in Shanghai. To mark its second anniversary, the hit video game Love and Deepspace brings its most intimate world offline this weekend, unveiling its first official immersive standalone exhibition at the Oriental Pearl TV Tower City Plaza in the Pudong New Area.
Titled "The One in My Heart, Welcome Home," the exhibition recreates the game's iconic "Sky Villa" in 1:1 scale, rising nearly six meters tall by the Huangpu River. Living room, bedroom, garden and windows overlooking the skyline – every detail is designed to feel less like an exhibition, and more like coming home.
Set against one of Shanghai's most iconic landmarks, the exhibition blurs the boundary between game, city, and personal memory – turning a virtual romance into a real-world destination.
The experience is divided into Photo Sessions for free roaming and Interactive Sessions featuring closer character interaction. All sessions are free to reserve via official channels, with limited daily slots. For fans who can't be there in person, special livestreams on January 16 (today) and January 18 (Sunday) will open the doors online.
During the exhibition period, players from across the country are traveling to Shanghai to take part in the anniversary experience. Many female players have been gathering at the site to photograph the installations, participate in interactive sessions, and share moments shaped by years of emotional engagement with the game. These in-person encounters turn individual affection into a collective presence, creating a space where online narratives and real-life connections briefly converge.
In addition to the exhibition, the anniversary program extends beyond the main venue. During the same celebration period, Love and Deepspace will present a free outdoor sculpture display near the Papergames headquarters building, in collaboration with Infinity Studio.
Running from January 17 to 25, there will be a global debut of life-size male lead sculptures titled Reunion in the Depths of Longing. Crafted over two years by hundreds of artists, the sculptures transform in-game emotion into physical presence, offering fans a rare, high-impact emotional moment.
