Journey to Africa: Sculptures That Tell Stories

The Lakeside Art Commune will be holding a mini exhibition "Africa Culture and Sculpture – Journey to Africa" in Shanghai's suburban Qingpu District that aims to tell the story of Africa.

Collector and storyteller Ide Nkameni has curated the event, showcasing the African flair in artistry with unique sculptures from all over the southern continent.

Through form, texture and creativity, learn more about Africa through an artistic lens; understand African history and culture, how each time period and localized environments have shaped the vast beliefs, ideologies and cultures of each region that when combined, form a wholly unique Africa culture.
