'Tiny Me, Mighty Power' Explores Healing and Inner Strength

Three years in, PERMA chooses not to celebrate with noise, but with quiet clarity.

From January 30 to March 5, PERMA presents its third anniversary special puzzle-themed art exhibition "Tiny Me, Mighty Power" at DSART on Huashan Road. This is more than an art display. It is a space designed to be entered and an emotional system you can walk through.

Rooted in the PERMA Model of well-being, the exhibition unfolds like a narrative journey. Visitors move from the story of the brand's birth, through reflections on city life and everyday rituals, and finally into the intimate terrain of personal emotion. As the space progresses, so does the viewer–shifting from the external world toward an inner anchoring.

Two quiet yet powerful series anchor the show. "Hello, Magic City" is not simply a cityscape; it feels like a soft greeting to a fast-changing Shanghai, acknowledging presence and memory in a place that rarely pauses. In contrast, the "Little Me" series turns inward, tracing the invisible weight many carry today – uncertainty, reinvention, emotional fatigue – and gently offering space to sit with it.

This exhibition asks for participation, not passive viewing.

A quiet corner invites visitors to write their thoughts, fold them into stars, and leave them behind. A puzzle experience zone offers tables where guests can sit, focus, and hear the subtle click of pieces finding their place. In collaboration with the Shanghai Tinker Autism Foundation, nearly one hundred plush stars are integrated into selected works, turning viewing into connection and empathy.

Throughout the exhibition period, PERMA will host additional programs including art therapy workshops, creator talks, and silent puzzle gatherings, extending the exhibition beyond walls and into lived experience.
