A dance drama based on the story of renowned Chinese beauty Xi Shi during the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) will be staged at the Shanghai International Dance Center on January 23-24.

Depicting the legendary life of Xi Shi, one of the Four Beauties of ancient China, it will be the 2.0 version of the production that premiered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, in June 2023 and has since toured more than 20 cities across the country.
