The 8th China International Import Expo will be extended with a CIIE U-Fair, where consumers can buy the latest and most popular CIIE exhibits directly, organizers said at a promotion event held on Nov 9.

Set to open from Dec 19 to 21 in Shanghai, the fair will take place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, the main venue of the ongoing CIIE.

Selected exhibits from the expo, including foods, fruits, beverages, wines, dairy products, consumer goods, supplements, and automobiles, will be available for purchase at the fair.

Notably, many products making their debut at the CIIE will be available at the fair. A special zone showcasing intangible heritages and time-honored brands will also be featured at the fair.

A number of popular CIIE exhibitors, such as L'Oreal, Samsung, SYR, and Goodfarmer Foods Holding (Group) Co Ltd, have confirmed participation at the fair with their latest offerings, according to the organizers.
