Carlos, hailing from Peru and happily married to a Chinese wife, finds "Lao Po" (wife) to be the most impressive Chinese term. He once affectionately referred to his wife as "Wai Po" (grandma). This charming mix-up became a delightful anecdote along his path to mastering Chinese.
