Purevjav Ganzorig, general secretary of the HUN Party of Mongolia, commended Shanghai's community-level services following a visit to the Lujiazui Subdistrict Riverside Party and Community Service Center on Sept 21.

"This service center embodies a people-centered approach," Ganzorig said, noting the comprehensive services provided to various demographics, including the elderly and children. "It effectively meets their needs and serves as an excellent model of convenience."

During the visit, Ganzorig toured the center, which features a range of facilities, including a community elderly canteen, a digital health management center, and a day care center.

The Lujiazui center, also known as "Lelin 365", spans six floors and offers comprehensive services for all age groups. It provides professional care, meal assistance, integrated medical and elderly care, health promotion and smart services.

Ganzorig, who was elected as a member of the State Great Hural, Mongolia's parliament, in 2024, emphasized the importance of such institutions for national development and stability. He highlighted the center's direct and consistent services to the people.

"This is very inspiring for us, as Mongolia is also undergoing urbanization," he added.

The HUN Party, established in 2011, champions a people-oriented approach, prioritizing the interests of the people. Ganzorig emphasized that the service center aligns with the party's core values.

Prior to the visit, Ganzorig had visited Shanghai several times for business purposes, recognizing it as a vital business and financial hub in China. "This time, I gained new insights into the Communist Party of China and its government affairs," he said.

He also visited the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, gaining a deeper understanding of the city's development.

Ganzorig sees potential for collaboration between Mongolia and China in community governance, particularly in leveraging technology and digitalization.

He pointed out that Shanghai, with over 24 million residents, has developed advanced intelligent and digital services.
