'Prima Facie' with Jodie Comer set for China release

"Prima Facie," a film that captures Jodie Comer's excellent performance in Suzie Miller's compelling one-woman show, will be released on the Chinese mainland on Friday.

Comer made her West End debut at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London in 2022. Justin Martin's play was a major success, winning both the Laurence Olivier and Tony Awards.

The film follows Tessa, a young and smart barrister, as she defends herself in a sexual assault case.

They gave viewers fresh insights and alternative female-perspective interpretations, which helped them comprehend the movie and associated women's issues on a deeper level.
