Registration for the 2025 Shanghai Fengxian Haiwan Forest Half Marathon is now open! Experience a race that blends speed and sweeping views amid the refreshing sea breeze and lush greenery unique to this bay area.

Event details

• When: Nov 9 (Sunday) at 9 am
• Where: Gate 1, Haiwan National Forest Park
• Event type: Half-marathon, approximately 21 kilometers
• Participant limit: 4,000 runners
• Registration fee: 150 yuan ($21.11) per participant

Note:

• The registration fee covers a disposable timing chip, race apparel, one medal, race-day refreshments, insurance, and more.
• This event is in the process of obtaining Class B marathon certification from the Chinese Athletics Association.

Race route

The race kicks off at Gate 1 of Haiwan National Forest Park, then follows Suitanghe Road → Sihai Road → Tuanjietang Road → Sihai Road → the West Gate of Haiwan National Forest Park → Haigu Road → East Meiyuan Road → North Meiyuan Road → East Xiangzhang Road → South Xiangzhang Road → Yulan Road, and concludes at the lawn of Haiwan National Forest Park.
